**Precaster** **Job Description** As a Precaster, you will assemble metal forms for molding reinforced concrete slabs, stairs, and beams, as well as pouring and finishing concrete. Your daily tasks will include cleaning and preparing molds, pouring concrete, and finishing concrete. This job involves various activities related to the manufacturing of precast and pre-stressed concrete, and it can get hot, sweaty, and dirty. **Pay** $18.00-$24.00 DOE **Responsibilities** + Frequently climb and hop in and out of forms that are 5-6ft tall and narrow. + Read and understand the Production Schedule and adhere to time frames. + Assist with the setup and stripping of concrete forms. + Assist with filling and leveling the concrete castings. + Participate in housekeeping duties to help clean the shop. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in hand and power tools. + Ability to lift up to 60lbs. + Must be able to climb in and out of 5-6ft tall forms that are narrow. + Ability to stand, walk, crouch, kneel, stretch, and climb for extended periods of time. + Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch. + Experience with concrete finishing tools. + Ability to use heavy equipment such as overhead cranes. + Some woodworking skills are preferable. **Why Work Here?** Employees have the opportunity to choose their career path. The production floor consists of a crew of 5-10 people across six different zones that require different skills and concrete mixes. The environment is a big shop with open doors, concrete dust, and splatter everywhere. The company has a total of 150 employees. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
