Precision Measurement Equipment Calibrator

About the Position: This position is located at JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD / PIERCE / WASHINGTON, with the Directorate of US ARMY AVIATION AND MISSILE COMMANDUSATA, PRODUCTION DIRECTORATEOPERATIONAL ARMY (OA). Responsibilities Prepares calibration reports for customer use, providing specific information such as assigned values, corrections factors, and measurement uncertainty for instruments being calibrated. Assists and advises users in the application of, and calibration requirements for TMDE in support of their mission. Implements, adapts, modifies and occasionally develops technical procedures required by changing user or equipment requirements. Identifies and documents errors in existing procedures and provides information used for the development of technical documents used for TMDE calibration and certification. Serves, as the workload dictates, as a specialist in physical/dimensional and ionizing radiation calibration. Performs other duties as assign.
