The Precision Pathology Account Manager is responsible for account management, retention and growth for assigned account(s) in GI, GU, Surgery Centers, Endoscopy Centers, and Interventional radiology supporting local Ameripath/Quest practices.

The Precision Pathology Account Manager works in close cooperation with oncology clinical, pathology and hospital account executives to support the collaborative selling model.

This is a field-based sales role. The territory is all of Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. 85%-90% of the business is in Dallas, TX. This role has around 25% travel requirement.


Drive adoption and volume in assigned territory through new account activation and up-selling of existing accounts.Ensures customer retention by developing relationships with personnel at multiple levels of the account.Conduct regular business reviews of service delivery to include logistics, supplies, testing and billing to identify gaps in service.Participate with precision oncology Account Executives and sales leaders in developing business plans and value propositions to increase revenue, volume and profitability in assigned account.Profile new tests and service offerings.Collaborate with medical affairs, operations, customer experience, IT, and billing teams. Secure meetings and in-services with physician and account targets. Provide subject matter expertise for precision pathology specialty testing Maintain and pursue knowledge in precision pathology specialty testing. Identify ways to strategically manage account depth and breadth for precision pathology testing adoption.Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations Complete all administrative tasks thoroughly and promptly.

Required Work Experience:

Prior responsibility for upselling current accounts and expanding existing relationships in complex customer models; health systems, academic cancer centers, and community large oncology groups.Five (5) years of account management experience in diagnostics, lab and or biotechThree (3) years of healthcare sales in oncology diagnostics, precision medicine, lab, and or biotech

Knowledge and skills: 

Knowledge of Healthcare Industry and general economics of business


Education:


Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
Master’s Degree Preferred
