Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Precision Surface Grinding Technician located in Buffalo Grove, IL.

Reporting to the Tooling Manager, the Precision Surface Grinding Technician role involves operation grinding machines.

What a typical day looks like:

Grind top and bottom, square and grind all parts to sizeSet up an operate Okamoto water grinder, 16x32, 12x24, 20x40Ability to hold tight tolerancesInspect and document all workEfficiently run two machinesUnderstand and follow scheduleRecord time on projectsMaintain good surface finishesMitsui surface grindingClean and maintain grinder and surrounding area

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

3-5 years grinding experienceCNC ID/OD experience a plusCNC Grinding a plusGeneral machine shop experience
