We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Preconstruction Manager in our Tampa office. This role involves the daily management, supervision, coordination, and successful completion of the preconstruction phase of projects to achieve the cost objectives related to contracting, scheduling, estimating, and bidding. The Preconstruction Manager ensures that all company estimates are accurate, complete, and reflective of the actual project requirements. This includes verifying that an adequate number of qualified and financially sound subcontractor proposals are received and evaluated through Choate Construction’s prequalification process. Additionally, the Preconstruction Manager is responsible for preparing detailed estimates (conceptual, schematic, design development, construction) and analyzing cost models during the design development and bidding phases. Skills and Qualifications: + Six (6) to ten (10) years of construction experience. + Proficiency in Bluebeam software for creating and modifying PDF documents. + Proficiency in Timberline Estimating software. + Preferred proficiency in Agtek and iSqFt.
