Summary
+ Performs the most complex lubrication, thermography and/or vibration predictive maintenance tests and records diagnostic results from various types of equipment.
+ Provides technical and analytical support to Operations, Maintenance, System and Procurement Engineering departments
+ Demonstrates the ability to accurately analyze/interpret test data results and is diversified in a predictive maintenance technology.
Minimum Requirements
+ High school graduate or GED.
+ Must meet the requirements of a Predictive Maintenance Tech II.
+ Must be Certified to ANSI/ANS 3.1, 4.5.2. (1978).
+ Must have complex knowledge of predictive maintenance computerized data systems.
+ Requires a thorough understanding of predictive maintenance principles, concepts, techniques, and practices.
Nuclear requirement
Any PVNGS employee may be called upon to serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization (ERO) and will be expected to fulfill their obligation as an ERO member.
This is a condition of employment at PVNGS.
Roles and Responsibilities defined in Policy 1503 and implementing policy guide are applicable to all PVNGS employees.
Any PVNGS employee may be called upon to support a refueling or short-notice outage.
This includes line roles and responsibilities as necessary to execute outage activities.
This position may require access to and/or use of information subject to control under the Department of Energy's Part 810 Regulations (10 CFR Part 810), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) (15 CFR Parts 730 through 774), or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 CFR Chapter I, Subchapter M Part 120) (collectively, U.S. Export Control Laws).
Therefore, this position requires applicants to be a U.S. person, which is defined as a U.S. Citizen, a U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), a Political Asylee, or a Refugee under the U.S. Export Control Laws. All applicants for this position will be required to confirm their U.S. person status.

Major Accountabilities
+ Perform the most complex predictive maintenance activities to measure plant efficiency, component condition and ensure compliance with the PVNGS technical specifications.
+ Monitor, review and evaluate analytical test results for conformance to technical and operating specifications.
+ Participate in and implement the predictive maintenance program to ensure that valid analytical results are obtained and documented.
+ Provides lower-level predictive maintenance technicians with advice and guidance through cross training.
+ Maintains the highest level of proficiency in the usage, application and care of wide variety of complex test and measuring equipment and instrumentation.
+ Operate, calibrate and maintain analytical instrumentation.
+ Troubleshoot instrumentation/methods as necessary.
+ Participate in training programs and seminars and successfully complete documented training program requirements.

Plant/Field Role:
This position requires work to be performed in the field and/or at the work site, due to the nature of work.
Any PVGS employees may be called upon for random Fitness for Duty (FFD) testing during scheduled working hours. Employees, if off-site, must report to FFD at Palo Verde as soon as reasonably practicable, but no more than 120 minutes after being notified. Employees who are onsite when notified will have no more than 60 minutes to report after being notified.
