Compensation Range Hourly: $23.20 - $26.90 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.) About This Job The main purpose of this job is to build continuous relationships with an assigned client portfolio and effectively deliver the Premier customer service GUEST model. This position will support 94 Crossing, Deer Creek Crossing, St. Peters, Wentzville, Creve Coeur, and Ladue branches. Essential Functions + Customize and build an account team around the needs of each client situation and provide consistent communication to all stakeholders + Utilize business leads to cultivate relationships, broaden knowledge of client and further business objectives + Build key partnerships with branch colleagues by participating in referral calls together + Cultivate a referral pipeline as appropriate + Provide continuous education on offerings and changes as appropriate within assigned market + Work campaign leads to set appointments with clients and strategically plan contact timing + Ensure timely responsiveness to customer interactions within the CONNECT application + Process fraud alerts as necessary + Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required + Intermediate understanding of banking policies and procedures + Basic knowledge of investment acumen + Ability to manage approval authority + Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and meet Commerce Bank’s driving record criteria; ongoing employment may be contingent upon meeting all driving requirements + Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities + Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills + Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values + Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook Education & Experience + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience required + 3+ years retail banking and/or financial services experience required For this position, Commerce Bank will review your motor vehicle driving record. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $23.20 to $26.90 per hour.
