Position Overview

The Premium Accounting Advocate’s main responsibility is to act as the single point of contact for the regions and markets they serve.  This includes maintain a high level of satisfaction by ongoing and open communication via phone, meetings, or office visits.  Resolve issues through coordination with the other leaders within Premium Accounting, you will be assigned branches that you will be the key liaison for that branch with all topics related to Accounting. This position requires the ability to be able to understand the client’s needs in order to adequately develop solutions that create client satisfaction.  Typically requires 3 -5 years of experience in the accounting field.   


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Single point of escalation for the regions and markets assignedInvolvement in newly acquired branches to promote a smooth onboarding to the Premium Accounting Team, as assignedEnsure the retail offices that we serve maintain a high level of satisfaction with the services provided by the Premium Accounting Team by having regular check in callsProvide associate feedback provided by the office to the Direct and Head of Premium Accounting, with recommendation on associate coachingWeekly/Monthly meetings with Service Leaders within each area via Teams/Zoom to review upcoming large/complex billing, challenges faced, and other opportunitiesIdentify, organize and conduct pre renewal meetings as needed for specific client needsIdentify process breaks and work with the Quality Assurance Manager to develop workshops or process improvementsKey player in documenting and establishing process and procedures for the team.Other tasks and projects as neededRequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredCollege degree in accounting/business management preferredPrior team facilitation and management experience preferredMinimum 3 years of Service within the Premium Accounting Team preferredCustomer Service Skills, excellent interpersonal & team building skillsComplete knowledge of accounting principals and practices with the Premium Accounting TeamAbility to consistently maintain a positive and professional attitude with the ability to motivate othersIndividual that is self motivated and presents themselves professionallyTakes initiate to learn new things and actively pursues opportunities to improve the current processesAbility to maintain confidentiality concerning departmental issues and/or staff membersRecognizes the urgency to assigned tasks and commits to personal overtime when necessaryAbility to communicate well with staff, field offices and senior managementability to negotiate and influence othersAbility to work effectively under stress and deadlinesConflict resolution skills, time management and organizational Strong written and verbal communication skills Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially in ExcelApplied Epic management system experience is required.
