Premium Payables Senior Analyst
**About the Team** The **Premium Payables** department at the Hub Financial Center (HFC) works seamlessly to ensure that payments to our insurance carriers and brokers are reconciled and distributed on time. This department consists of various internal segments staffed by knowledgeable and dedicated team members who are committed to safeguarding the security of our clients' premiums. **About the Role** We are in search of a **Billing Team Lead** (Premium Payables Senior Analyst) to help lead and mentor a specialized segment of individuals. This team member will support the Supervisor and assisting leads by overseeing the daily operations of their assigned unit. Fosters and enhances the growth of direct reports by providing leadership training, managing performance, and facilitating professional development. **What you’ll do** • Supports the day-to-day operations of their dedicated team members and leads • Identifies areas for training to ensure that skill levels are uniformly excellent across the group • Monitors workflows to identify necessary movements of resources minimizing gaps • Analyzes performance and productivity reports for potential opportunities as well as successes • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy • Manage high complex escalations providing a timely response and resolution • Partners with Supervisor on strategizing department goals and objectives • Work with the accounting leadership on special projects that may be assigned from time to time • Provides aid during the month-end close to ensure no outstanding/open items • Proactively recognizes the strengths within the team to guide members toward opportunities for growth. **What you bring to our team** • Required 2+ years of experience in a leadership/supporting others role • Required 2+years of experience in the insurance, accounting, finance or banking fields • Professional certification or BA in Business, Accounting, or related area is preferred • Excellent interpersonal, supervisory, and customer service skills • Intermediate to advanced computer program skills in all Microsoft Office Suite • Adaptability to shifting priorities, managing multiple projects, and leading to achieve effective results in a growing environment • Excellent verbal and communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines The expected salary range for this position is $24.50 to $33.50 per hour and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
