THE ROLE

The Premium Services Manager will assist the Director of Suites and Catering with effectively and profitably managing and directing all day to day aspects of the Suites and Catering Department. The Premium Services Manager is based out of Rogers Centre and reports to the Director of Suites and Catering.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsible for the day-to-day guest and client liaison for all suites and catering services. Work with Executive Chef on menus for all events related to suites and catering, including VIP menus Follow-up on day of event with guests/clients to ensure total guest satisfaction. Provides timely responses and support to client and guests.    Assign daily tasks to the Suites and Catering office assistants.    Daily review on invoicing and communication with the Finance team. Provide instruction on company policies and procedures to Suites and Catering team members and ensure proper follow-through, including training on job duties, and Customer Service Expectations. Ensure unit compliance with federal, provincial, local, and Legends regulations regarding sale of alcohol, OSHA guidelines, ESA and CBA. Provide efficient service and quality products by maintaining positive customer and client relations through effective communication and prudent financial practices. Make operational recommendations and establish prices for products and services within approved budget. Assist with establishing yearly Catering and Suites sales and profit goals, work on financial goals, cost of goods and profit plans. Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities are required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3-5 years' management experience in the high volume foodservice industry, preferably in concessions environment for a sports and entertainment venue.  Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.  Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment Responds quickly and effectively to changing trends and circumstances; embraces change and welcomes fresh perspectives. Demonstrate leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives. Customer service oriented with the ability to communicate with employees, vendors, client representatives and guests in a positive and professional manner. Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays.  Must be able to work in a team environment. Knowledge of accounting procedures, POS Systems and inventory management systems is preferred.  Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
