Job DescriptionResponsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the procurement of materials and components for the Engineering Department.
Activities:
-Maintain tracking reports on all project materials and equipment purchased.
-Prepare, maintain, track, and provide status of order entry of all purchase orders.
-Contact suppliers regarding material problems, delivery delays, or poor quality.
-Keep material tickets up to date.
-Receive, examine, and process purchase requisitions.
-Track open or outstanding orders. Follow up with customers or suppliers as needed to ensure appropriate close out process is executed.
-Manage suppliers to meet objectives and deadlines.
-Work closely with other areas to facilitate completion of vendor documentation.
-Expedite and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
-Prepare necessary documents related to the purchase of supplies, materials, and equipment.
-Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost, and quality.
-Manage supplier relationships and business environment.
-Analyze and interpret multiple sources of information to determine the best course of action to meet customer and departmental specific requirements.
-Work with Accounts Payable / Finance department to ensure receipt of product so that timely payment can be issued.
-Serves as a liaison between engineering, sales, and finance.
-Research/source suppliers for new components as needed.
-Coordinate freight pickup/delivery as needed for occasional orders.
-Other duties as assigned by management.
-Bachelor’s degree in Industrial engineering, Materials management engineering, Logistics engineering, International relationships, or related.
-Experience/knowledge in procurement, supply chain and purchasing methods/procedures.
-Experience tracking supplier and materials
-Familiarity with automotive manufacturing materials and components
-Knowledge of industry logistics regulations
-Agile management and Planning skills
-Strong data analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, create detailed reports, and make informed decisions.

This is a hybrid position, it is expected to be at least 2 days onsite a week , the applicats must live near to Naucalpan, Estado de México.
