Demonstrates developed assessment skills, recognizing the impact of nursing care on patient outcomes. Incorporates AACN Synergy Model into clinical practice. Delegates appropriately utilizing the Synergy model of care and recognizes the roles of the interdisciplinary team, patient and family care partners utilizing them appropriately as resources in planning patient care. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program. Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board. Emory Anesthesia Pre Op Clinic
Number of Rooms: 9Nursing scope of practice: Thorough assessments on all patients needing general anesthesia done either in the clinic or remotely using telehealth, providing pre-procedural education. Nurses also assist with drawing blood, COVID testing, and executing EKGs, as needed. Daily patient population: Approximately 40Staffing Hours: 7a-5:30p, Monday through Friday; closed weekends and Holidays.
