Responsibilities The Prep Cook's typical job functions include: Preparing cold entrees, salads, and desserts according to food handling guidelines, recipes and cooking procedures Performing duties and closing procedures including equipment maintenance and shut off, cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas Adhearing to all safety standards and completing all related trainings Qualifications This position might be for you if: You are at least 16 years old You are available to work evenings, weekends and holidays High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Able to lift up to 25 pounds; stand for long periods of time Possess ServSafe Certification or obtain upon hire
