Is effective with ACLS procedure (i.e. Bag/mask ventilation, CPR, defibrillator operation, medication administration). • Documents thoroughly and accurately pre and post-procedure information, including H&P, lab results, hemodynamic data medication administration, pain assessment, physical assessment, bed assignment information, ARU log book. • Demonstrates clinical competency with blood draw, IV starts, blood glucose monitoring and quality control techniques and demonstrates clinical competency with ACT monitoring and quality control and running samples. • Demonstrates clinical competency with ACT monitoring and quality control and running samples. • Demonstrates clinical competency with sheath removal and can verbally state the potential hazards associated with this procedure. One year critical care experience. One year previous diagnostic/invasive cardiac cath lab and/or recovery experience preferred . Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
