**Job Title: Prepper** **Job Description** Candidates will be working in the paint department, primarily focused on sanding any imperfections or damaged paint and masking trucks before they go into the booth. There is sufficient prep work such that preppers do not have to paint and will be prepping trucks for paint all day long. **Responsibilities** + Sanding surfaces using the proper grit. + Masking spots on the trucks that are not to be painted. + Prepping trucks for paint throughout the day. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency with a spray gun. + Experience in sanding and masking. + Knowledge of paint mixing. + Ability to work with metal materials. + Familiarity with hand tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in installing, repairing, and assembling. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy consistent, clean work with raises based on ability. Employees will be working on new cars and equipment that have not seen the road yet. The role is for the 2nd shift, from 3 pm to 1:30 am, with very few weekends required. Occasionally, Saturdays may be necessary. The dress code includes jeans/work pants and a T-shirt. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FLINT, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.90/hr.
