Presale Engineer

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
As a Presale Engineer, you are responsible for identifying new features, products, and business opportunities while being a critical driver of sales initiatives. Our team collaborates with clients to understand their challenges and solutions. You will work to become a trusted advisor for our clients, enabling you to build confidence in TP-Link’s technology infrastructure.
WHAT YOUR FUTURE LOOKS LIKE:
+ Knowledge base on networking
+ Understanding business scenarios of hospitality, restaurant, or health care
+ Verification of whether products will work for customers
+ Delivering presentations and demonstrations to prospective and current clients
+ Liaising with those developing products/services to gain an in-depth knowledge that you can relate to customers – and to let them in on user behavior and/or any potential changes clients would like
+ Helping the sales team to reach targets
+ Conducting research into the industry – including competitor research
+ Potentially considering new markets or clients to contact, based on your knowledge of both the products/services and their users.
+ Experience working in highly collaborative environments
+ Ability to manage a project, work to deadlines, and prioritize between competing demands
Requirements
+ 3+ years of experience
+ A Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Engineering or related field
+ Background in Networking; Certifications related to networking can be advantageous.
+ Based in Southern California, able to work in Irvine office.
+ Travel to the client's location to propose solutions or conduct training when needed.
+ Must possess strong communication and presentation skills
+ Ability to understand and articulate complex technical details to a non-technical audience.
+ Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred.
Benefits
Salary: $80K - 150K DOE
