Data Services and the underlying Storage Solutions are a key investment area for HPE. Over the past years we have invested significantly into R&D and acquiring new technologies to enable a software-driven, cloud-operated portfolio, delivering Data Services that can be deployed not only in the Data Center but span from Edge-to-Cloud as a hybrid solution.
And this journey has only started with a lot more innovation to come.
To bring these benefits to even more customers, we are expanding our Storage salesforce across Germany. Channel Partners are integral to our success and responsible for a major portion of our storage business.
As Channel Partner Storage Presales Architect, you:
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with presales / system engineers at the channel partner – acting as a trusted advisor guiding them on products and solutions to best meet their needs, highlighting technical alternatives and possible shortcomings.Drive the adoption of new and strategic HPE Storage technologies within the channel partner by linking the technical features of our solutions with tangible benefits and enabling them to sell those HPE Storage products. This Technical Business Development involves delivering compelling presentations and demos, workshops etc. and following-up the enablement to jointly pursue new customersCollaborate with the Channel Partners to pursue an opportunity, respond to tenders, understand customer’s business and technical requirements, assess current infrastructure, develop strategies to counter competitive threats, and then position HPE Data Services and Storage solutions, design and size the solution.If you have these Skills, Expertise, Attitude and Education…
First-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications. Advanced degree in technology preferred.+3 years of experience in IT with a focus on technical consultingSales-oriented technology professional who can combine deep technical skills with strong business acumen to motivate customers to follow you on a transformational journeyExpertise in Storage and Data Services including storage arrays and data protectionKnowledge of adjacent technologies like virtualization, networking, public cloud and industry certifications from e.g. HPE, VMware, Veeam, Azure, AWS etc., are a plusConsultative selling techniques such as active listening, framing, white boarding, storytellingAdvanced consultative/value selling skills, including whiteboarding, storytelling, objection handling, to proactively help customers make business decisions.Taking pride in being knowledgeable on leading-edge and emerging technologies in the industry and enjoy meeting new customers and partners to talk techExcellence in communicating and presenting – both in German (fluent) and English (good proficiency)Come and join the future of integrated Hybrid Cloud Data Services with HPE!
