Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and strategic Presales Consultant with strong account research and mining skills. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with account teams, delivery teams, and competency groups to drive innovation, propose new use cases, respond to RFPs, and help grow business with existing customers. This role requires a consultant who can take initiative, build strong client relationships, and create a push effect for sales growth through innovative solution offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Research & Mining:Conduct thorough research of assigned accounts, identifying business challenges, industry trends, and potential areas for growth.Engage in account mining to uncover new opportunities within existing customer accounts by understanding their current and future needs.Proactive Idea Generation:Bring proactive and innovative ideas to the account teams and customers to pitch new use cases and solutions.Regularly collaborate with internal teams to brainstorm and propose customer-centric solutions that enhance business value.Pitching & Use Case Development:Develop and pitch new use cases that align with customer pain points and industry trends, focusing on solving critical challenges.Present these solutions effectively to customers, highlighting the business impact and technical feasibility.RFP Responses & Proposal Creation:Lead the creation of responses to RFPs (Request for Proposals), working closely with technical and business teams to develop competitive, tailored solutions.Drive the development of proactive proposals, anticipating customer needs and positioning the company as a partner in innovation.Collaboration & Innovation Management:Foster strong collaboration between sales, delivery, and competency teams to ensure that solution proposals are executable and aligned with the customer’s long-term vision.Act as a bridge between delivery and presales, ensuring smooth transition from solution design to delivery.Driving Innovation & Sales Push:Actively drive innovation initiatives within accounts, introducing new solutions and technological advancements that align with market trends.Work closely with sales teams to create a push effect, encouraging them to sell additional services and solutions that bring more value to the customer.Account Strategy & Growth:Collaborate with the account team to develop strategies for expanding business within key accounts, leveraging your deep understanding of their challenges and goals.Help drive customer success by ensuring that proposed solutions meet customer expectations and lead to measurable outcomes.

Experience & Skills Requirements:

Account Mining & Research Expertise:Proven experience in account mining and research, with the ability to identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.Innovation & Idea Generation:A track record of proactively bringing innovative ideas to customers and internal teams, developing new use cases that address business challenges.RFP & Proposal Expertise:Strong experience in RFP responses and proposal development, with the ability to craft compelling, competitive solutions.Collaboration & Team Coordination:Ability to work closely with sales, delivery, and technical teams to ensure alignment on solutions, execution, and customer goals.Sales Push & Business Growth:A self-starter mentality with a focus on driving additional sales by identifying new use cases, selling more solutions to existing customers, and collaborating with sales teams.Communication & Presentation Skills:Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with internal stakeholders and external customers.

Qualifications:

7-10 years of experience in a presale’s role, with a focus on account research, account mining, and solution development.Strong knowledge of technology solutions and industry trends.Demonstrated success in driving growth within key accounts through innovative ideas and proactive sales strategies.Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships and deliver on complex proposals.
