We are hiring Ed. Tech. IIIs to work 1:1 with students to implement plans that teach communication, social, emotional, cognitive, and self-help skills to children. Ed. Tech. IIIs work in collaboration with Special Education Teachers, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists to support all aspects of children's development. Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) training is provided upon hire. \n
This is a full-time position spanning the regular school year. A week-long paid orientation training is provided upon hire. \n
The schedule is 7:30am - 3:30pm and this position pays between $20.00-$24.00 per hour based on experience and other job criteria. \n

DUTIES:\n\nWork 1:1 with students diagnosed with Autism and Developmental Disorders in the preschool classroom setting.\nTeach targeted skills in the areas of communication, social interaction, play, emotional regulation, self-help\/adaptive and cognitive skills.\nImplement educational and behavioral treatment plans throughout the school day.\nAssist in tasks required to manage the classroom environment and promote student learning.\nCollect and record data on progress and complete required paperwork to document services daily.\nCollaborate with BCBAs, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists around interventions, progress and the ongoing challenges of students.\nParticipate in regular supervision and debriefing meetings (both team and individual).\n\n
QUALIFICATIONS:\n
Our Ed Tech III must have, or be eligible for, Maine Department of Education Educational Technician III certification by having earned a bachelor's degree (preferred) or by having earned a minimum of 90 college credits (required).\n
