The Prescription Authorization Specialist will be responsible for supporting the prescribing of medications for insured patients. If you have experience in the Pharmacy field, take this opportunity and apply for this position today!Responsibilities Verify insurance coverage and benefits on all third-party accounts for prescription authorizations. Obtain authorizations and document details of all notes related to updates in Epic and Willow. Obtain authorization notes and input in the designated format and ensure the data is accurate to the authorized received.Maintain a working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Age & Disable, and Social Security rules and regulations.  Qualifications and Requirements:A High School Diploma or GED is required; An associate’s degree or 2 years of college is highly preferred.A Registered Pharmacy Technician License from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy is required.Three (3) years of prescription/pharmacy authorization experience is required; Epic Software experience is a strong plus.Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred. Benefits and Perks: Weekly pay periods – and direct deposit! During your employment with The Reserves Network, you can enroll in our benefits program, including medical (3 plans to choose from), dental, disability, critical illness, life, vision, accident, and behavioral health insurance.
