Salary: £35,000 per annum plus a 15% shift differential (total £40,250.00), plus company benefits

Location: 2 King Edward Street, London EC1A 1HQ

Contract: Permanent, full time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Monday through Friday 16:00-00:00

Break: 30-minute lunch, unpaid

Work model: Fully onsite

Williams Lea seeks a Presentation Specialist to join our team!

Purpose of role

As a Presentation Specialist you will have the opportunity to work as part of a team liaising closely with clients and bankers to produce presentations materials. You will own and take responsibility for the work, in terms of the final product, e.g. consistency, deadline management, accuracy and quality in accordance with the Bank template and corporate guidelines.

Presentation Specialists take responsibility for the management of the document, within time and quality parameters, all while handling customer queries. You will work closely with the Workflow Coordinator giving them regular updates on workflow, deadlines and issues so that the client’s requirements can be effectively managed. This role will afford you the ability to develop effective working relationships with clients and colleagues to promote a strong working team.

Key responsibilities

Complete amendments to and create documents as requested by clients using the Bank’s templateTake ownership for the quality of your work and the associated deadlinesUse docBANK/Symphony for job related duties accurately and effectivelyAccurately estimate the production time and liaise with Workflow Coordinators to ensure deadline adherenceShare knowledge and encourage a supportive team cultureTake a proactive approach to attendance and time management Ensuring adherence of objectives and contractual obligations (Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators)Attend to the front desk area in the absence of the Workflow CoordinatorQuality check samples of work produced and record findings on relevant systemsAct in a professional and consultative manner to all clientsEnsure a clear and comprehensive handover for any incoming staff

General tasks

Accurate and timely production of all Presentations materialsEnsure all work is quality checked before being returned to the clientEnsure complete submission of work to be randomly quality checkedAdherence of department policies and proceduresReporting of any issues to relevant partiesAd hoc requests from Williams Lea or the Client

Personal attributes

Experience creating and quality checking corporate PowerPoint presentations and pitchbooks is requiredExperience of working in a corporate cultureAbility to work to tight deadlines whilst under pressureMust be able to work on their own initiativeSelf motivated, ability to think on the spotContinual improvement mentality, open and receptive to feedbackStrong service mentality, commitment to service excellence is essentialEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenFlexible attitudeShould be a quick learner, able to pick up skills relevant to the service needsDetermination to achieve results and being prepared to put in extra effort when requiredAccountability for own resultsThe candidate must have advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2007Knowledge of Adobe packages highly desiredA working knowledge of graphics production and applications is also desiredExposure to a shift environment would be beneficial
