We are searching for a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as President of the Accessories Group. This individual will bring a proven track record of driving success and possess the energy and strategic vision necessary to lead our business to new heights!

 

As President, you will be responsible for overseeing five manufacturing sites located in Pennsylvania, Tennessee, California, and Connecticut. Your primary focus will be on identifying and capitalizing on new business development opportunities, uncovering hidden potential, and fostering strong, long-lasting business relationships that are vital to our continued success.

 

This role requires a strategic leader who will not only develop and lead a growth strategy but also engage with day-to-day operations & all other facets of the business. Strong relationship-building skills are essential, as the successful candidate will not only lead the division, but also interface with our Sales Team and customer base on a regular basis.

 

Location: This is a full-time, onsite position based in Somerset, PA (preferred location). However, we would consider Berlin, CT as an option for the right hire.

 

Note: Telecommuting or hybrid work options will not be considered for this role.

 

The President will report directly to the Head of our Commercial Segment.

 

What you will be doing 

Balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on involvement, demonstrating a commitment to the team's success. Identify and resolve challenges by working alongside the team, leveraging collective expertise and fostering a culture of problem-solving. Encourage a culture of accountability by setting clear expectations and working collaboratively with the team to achieve them. Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and career growth. Take full ownership of P&L, with expectations to drive year-over-year growth and increase profitability. Implement strategies to achieve significant cost savings, targeting an average 6% reduction in the cost of goods sold annually. Drive business development efforts for the Accessories Group, identifying and capitalizing on new growth opportunities. Partner closely with the Door Security Solutions sales organization to design and execute sales promotion plans, marketing communications, and strategies to increase market share. Oversee all product roads and produce development activities within the Accessories Group, ensuring alignment with market demands and company objectives. Guide Pricing Teams in the development and execution of strategic initiatives, including the timing of price adjustments and preparation of sales quotes. Champion continuous improvement initiatives across lean operations, automation, Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE), seamless workflow, and raw material cost reductions. Work to cultivate strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts to drive business growth & customer satisfaction. Collaborate closely with other Group Presidents to leverage synergies and drive collective success across the organization.

 

What we are looking for

A leader who is comfortable conversing with the CEO, our largest customers, and the individuals who make our products with equal passion.  An individual who is comfortable diving deep into the details, then handing the initiative off to others and monitoring progress.  A curious minded leader who wants to know how our facilities, processes, and products work with the goal to make them better.   Must hold a Bachelor or Master’s Degree with a proven record of achieving markedly improved results in roles with increasingly broader responsibilities. Must have experience in the manufacturing sector. Must be able to travel up to 60%. Demonstrated success meeting financial, operational, and commercial objectives. Strong interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for talent. Executive presence and excellent presentation skills.
