Job Summary
The President of Edible Brands EMEA will lead the expansion and launch of Edible Brands in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Based in Dubai, UAE, this strategic leadership role is responsible for developing and executing market entry strategies, establishing regional operations, building brand awareness, and driving sustainable growth across the EMEA & APAC regions. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a proven track record of launching and scaling global brands in diverse markets, fostering franchise partnerships, and achieving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement the overall business strategy for Edible Brands’ launch and growth in EMEA & APAC.Identify market opportunities, assess regional dynamics, and define strategic priorities to ensure the successful establishment of the brand.Align regional strategies with global business objectives and the core values of Edible Brands.Brand Development & Market Entry
Spearhead market research and feasibility studies to identify target markets, customer segments, and entry strategies.Oversee the launch of Edible Brands’ products and services, tailoring offerings to meet local preferences and regulatory requirements.Drive marketing and brand-building initiatives to establish Edible Brands as a trusted and innovative leader in the region.Franchise Development & Management
Recruit, onboard, and manage franchisees across the EMEA & APAC regions, ensuring alignment with brand standards and values.Provide ongoing support and training to franchise partners to maximize performance and maintain brand integrity.Develop scalable models for franchise operations and monitor performance metrics.Operational Excellence
Build and oversee regional teams, ensuring efficient operations across all functional areas, including supply chain, marketing, and customer service.Establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, distributors, and government authorities.Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards.Financial Management
Develop and manage the regional budget, ensuring profitable growth and cost control.Monitor financial performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to achieve revenue and profitability targets.Drive business development initiatives to secure strategic partnerships and new revenue streams.Leadership & Team Building
Build a high-performing regional team by recruiting, mentoring, and retaining top talent.Cultivate a culture of collaboration, celebration, and accountability, where adaptability drives innovation, commitment fuels excellence, and a results-driven mindset ensures success.Serve as the regional ambassador for Edible Brands, representing the company at industry events and fostering relationships with key partners.Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).Experience:Minimum 10+ years of senior leadership experience in international business, preferably in the food, retail, or franchising industry.Proven track record of launching and scaling global brands in diverse markets, particularly in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.Experience in franchise development, management, and operations is highly desirable.Skills:Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Proficiency in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on achieving business objectives.Ability to navigate complex cultural and regulatory landscapes in the EMEA region.
