**Job Title: Press Brake Set Up Operator** **Job Description** The Press Brake Set Up Operator will be responsible for forming material required per order to meet scheduled requirements. The role involves setting up and operating a hydraulic press brake for established work, understanding dimensions, tolerances, and angles of formed parts, and calculating bend locations, appropriate tonnage, and tooling for each part being formed. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate hydraulic press brake for established work. + Understand dimensions, tolerances, and angles of formed parts. + Calculate bend locations, appropriate tonnage, and tooling for each part being formed. + Verify all parts are present and correctly formed to specifications; notify management if the project is missing parts or if a part is incorrect. + Organize work area before and after parts are processed, stacking completed parts properly on tables or pallets to eliminate double handling and work efficiently. + Keep production board updated with status of orders in Press Brake department. + Detect equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine within capabilities.
