Strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential. Responsibilities: Perform welding operations using stick and flux-core techniques on metal plates and utilize cutting torches for accurate cuts and shaping.Read and interpret measurements from precision tools to ensure precise cuts and welds, and safely operate overhead cranes for metal plate positioning.Inspect welded joints and metal cuts for specification and quality compliance and adhere to all safety protocols.Maintain accurate records of materials, production activities, and quality assurance inspections, while troubleshooting and resolving fabrication issues.Collaborate with fabricators, welders, and supervisors to achieve project goals efficiently, and meet physical requirements such as lifting and standing for extended periods. Qualifications and Requirements: Proven experience in metal fabrication with stick and flux-core welding techniques; skilled in using cutting torches and metalworking tools.Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints; experienced with metal plates from 3/16” to 1/2" thickness. Familiarity with overhead crane operation for material handling; strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.Good communication skills and effective teamwork; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.Vocational training or certification in welding/metal fabrication and previous manufacturing/industrial experience is a plus. Benefits and Perks: $18-$23 hourlyMedical Benefits HolidaysTraining & Growth Your New Organization:The largest steel tank manufacturer in the U.S., specializing in aboveground and underground tanks that meet construction standards. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role.
