Responsibilities

Position Summary

Uses press brakes and miscellaneous equipment to create, shape, and customize materials into a variety of 

forms dictated by Fabrication plans.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Reading and interpreting detailed and complex instructions to produce the desired forms. Following the Safety policy, including PPE Setting up and operating press brakes and other equipment on a variety of parts of all shapes and sizes Checking products against standards for conformance to specifications Following specifications in job orders, verbal instructions, and blueprints Observing machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction Performing minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces Employees are responsible for complying with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures. Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.  

 

Qualifications

 

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum of 2 years of related experience preferred Math skills Ability to read blueprints Knowledge of standard and metric measurements Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques Self-motivated and detail-oriented Team orientation Crane operation certification required Forklift operation certification required LOTO certification preferred, but not required
