**Job Title: Press Brake Operator** **Job Description** Bump form brake press (Pacific Press Technologies 2000-ton) and/or a roll press (8ft wide pyramid plate rolls). Candidates will be responsible for operating an overhead crane to move material (steel), operating a sit-down forklift to move material, assisting machine operators with loading and unloading tables and machines, banding and wrapping pallets, utilizing a grinder to prep metal plates for machining, reading/interpreting blueprints (width, length, arc), reading tape measures, mics, cals, and flex tape, taking inventory of material when needed, and labeling incoming and outgoing product. The position is a 1st shift opening from 7am-3:30pm, with up to 45 hours weekly and occasional Saturdays. Candidates will need steel toe boots. **Hard Skills** + Bump form brake press (Pacific Press Technologies 2000-ton) + Roll press (8ft wide pyramid plate rolls) + Read a tape measure + Steel experience **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in University Park, Illinois. **Work Environment** Candidates will be working on the manufacturing floor alongside machine operators, welders, and maintenance.
