**Job Title: Press Brake Operator** **Job Description** The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for bending sheet metal using a brake press. The candidate must understand and measure angles accurately and work from blueprints. This role involves moving dies and making corrections to the machine to ensure the metal is bent at the correct angle. The operator will handle the bending of sheet metal used in the production of HVAC roofing curbs. **Responsibilities** + Bend sheet metal using a brake press. + Understand and measure angles accurately. + Work from blueprints to ensure precise fabrication. + Move dies and make corrections to the machine for accurate bending. + Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the brake press. + Ensure quality and precision in metal fabrication. **Essential Skills** + Experience with press brake operation. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Proficiency in measuring and industrial math. + Troubleshooting skills for machine operation. + Experience in CNC machine operation. + Basic math skills. + Manufacturing and production experience. + Ability to lift up to 50lbs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with shear, punch press, saw operation, brake, and plasma cutting. + Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to learn. **Why Work Here?** Our company is employee-owned, offering stock that vests after five years.
