**Press Brake Operator** **Job Description** Operate and adjust the person and Cincinnati press brakes. Utilize micrometers and calipers to make proper measurements. Work within tolerance of +/- .1-.005. Make adjustments to the machine to control speed. Responsible for checking and packing own parts per work instructions. Good math skills are required along with the ability to understand and carry out simple multi-step instructions and written and verbal communication skills. Will learn how to calculate bend deduction allowances according to the fabrication instructions. Perform loading and unloading of material by changing tools and select required machine programs. **Hard Skills** + Machine Operating + Micrometer and Caliper + Basic Math Skills **Soft Skills** + Written and Verbal Communication + Ability to Follow Multi-Step Instructions **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in St. Charles, Illinois. **Work Environment** We are a full-service sheet metal fabricator, specializing in stainless steel innovation for fifty years. Our 63,000 square foot facility is home to the latest and most updated fabrication and welding equipment built to service the restaurant, medical, telecommunications, display, and other sheet metal markets. Employees will have the opportunity to learn various metal fabrication equipment (brake press, laser cutter, spot welding, and finishing equipment) due to the culture and training in place.
