Job Title: Press Brake Operator : Plymouth, MN : $25 to $27

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to set up and operate an Accupress hydraulic press brake. The candidate will be responsible for installing tooling to specifications using feelers, shims, templates, or other items as required by each part. The role involves 2-5 set-ups per day for production runs of 20-75 parts per run. The candidate must be willing to assist in other areas such as punch press, turret, and shear as needed. The job requires consistent lifting of sheet metal into the machine, with weights ranging from 20-50 lbs. throughout the day.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate an Accupress hydraulic press brake.Install tooling to specifications using feelers, shims, templates, or other items as required.Perform 2-5 set-ups per day for production runs of 20-75 parts per run.Assist in other areas such as punch press, turret, and shear as needed.Consistently lift sheet metal into the machine, handling weights of 20-50 lbs. throughout the day.Essential Skills2+ years of experience setting up and operating Press Brake Machines.Ability to read blueprints.Proficiency in using a tape measure, caliper, and protractor.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with sheet metal work and fabrication.Familiarity with machine operation, blueprint reading, micrometers, calipers, shear, sheet metal cutting, and grinding.Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00
