**Hiring: Press Brake Operator** **Job Description** You will be responsible for running a press brake in a smaller shop with around 25 employees. Your role will involve inspecting parts and working with stainless steel, aluminum, and regular steel. You may also operate a punch press and perform general maintenance on press brakes as needed. The position requires programming skills, including writing programs from start to finish, making tool changes, and calibrating the machine every morning. You will be required to create programs with multiple bends, up to 10 line items. **Responsibilities** + Run a press brake machine in a smaller shop environment. + Inspect parts and work with stainless steel, aluminum, and regular steel. + Operate a punch press as needed. + Perform general maintenance on press brakes. + Write programs from start to finish for press brake operations. + Make tool changes and calibrate the machine every morning. + Create programs with multiple bends, up to 10 line items. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of Press Brake experience. + Programming experience for press brake operations. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience in fabrication and machine operation. + Structural metals background preferred **Work Environment** You will be part of a small team with around 25 employees. The company is family-run and owned, with about 8 people in the office and the rest in the shop.
