**Job Title: Press Brake Operator**
**Job Description**
The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and straighten metal sheets and plates. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate press brake machines to produce parts according to specifications.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.
+ Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of press brake machines.
+ Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
+ Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
+ Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
**Essential Skills**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Minimum of 1 year of experience operating press brake machines.
+ Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and techniques.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
+ Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with Amada Press Brakes is a plus.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and CNC press brake machines.

**Work Environment**
Open shop environment. You will be working with large diesel truck bodies for municipal clients, including garbage trucks and large industrial loaders. The schedule includes a 4-10 workweek with some Fridays for overtime. The first shift starts at 5:00am, and there are tentative plans for a second shift from 2:30pm to 1:00am. The team includes approximately 25 welders working in designated areas specializing in body, fabrication, or installations.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fresno, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00
