**Job Title: Press Brake Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator responsible for machine set-up, tear down, and changeovers. The role involves changing dies and punches, maintaining quality throughout the run, assembling parts into sub-units or complete units, and using blueprints to ensure proper dimensions and tolerance of the finished product. Interpretation of mechanical drawings to determine the appropriate die or punch to form parts is essential. Additionally, the operator will perform all safety and housekeeping duties and other tasks as requested or assigned by the Supervisor.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up, tear down, and changeovers of the press brake machine.
+ Change dies and punches as required.
+ Maintain quality throughout the production run.
+ Assemble parts into sub-units or complete units.
+ Use blueprints to ensure proper dimensions and tolerance of the finished product.
+ Interpret mechanical drawings to determine the appropriate die or punch.
+ Perform all safety and housekeeping duties.
+ Complete other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by the Supervisor.
**Work Environment**
Work on the 1st shift from 6am-2pm, with potential overtime at the starting of the shift and some Saturdays. The manufacturing facility is located in Canton, Ohio, and operates with a team of 70-80 employees on the floor and 130 employees in total. Dress code includes jeans, a shirt, steel toe boots, safety glasses, and ear plugs.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CANTON, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
