Job Description
Set up and operate heavy-duty power presses to bend, form, stretch, punch, and straighten metal plates, metal extrusions, formed sheet metal, structural shapes, tubing, forgings, and weldments.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate press brake machinery.Read and interpret blueprints for metal fabrication.Measure and cut materials using tape measures.Conduct machine operations with precision.Ensure clean welds and take pride in workmanship.Perform tasks outside of usual responsibilities as needed.Essential SkillsExperience with press brake setup and operation.Proficiency in blueprint reading.Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication.Skill in operating punch press machinery.Ability to use tape measures accurately.Additional Skills & QualificationsFlexibility and openness to perform various tasks.Ability to work individually and as part of a team.Growth mindset and strong attendance record.Certification in relevant field preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a mid-size, 30-person fabrication shop that includes paint, press brake, welding, and assembly processes. The facility is expanding, having added 6-7 new customers in 2024. Engage in production welding and work within welding bays across two buildings. The materials handled range from mild steel 20 gauge to 1 inch. The shift is Monday to Thursday, 5:30 am to 3:30 pm, with overtime on Fridays if needed. Paid breaks and a 20-minute paid lunch are included.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
