**Job Title: Press Brake Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating a computer-controlled press brake to project specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints, specification sheets, and metalworking tools.
**Responsibilities**
+ Study blueprints and specification sheets to understand technical requirements.
+ Set a computer-controlled press brake according to project specifications.
+ Ensure proper positioning and alignment of metal inside the press brake.
+ Monitor the pressing process to ensure accuracy.
+ Measure and inspect finished sheet metal to ensure it matches specifications.
+ Troubleshoot and address any issues that arise during the pressing process.
+ Perform routine maintenance on the press brake.
+ Comply with all health and safety standards in the manufacturing facility.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with press brake operation.
+ Ability to read blueprints and specification sheets.
+ Proficiency in using a tape measure, micrometer, and calipers.
+ Knowledge of sheet metal handling and processing.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
+ Attention to detail and precision in measurements.
+ Ability to perform routine maintenance on machinery.

**Work Environment**
This role operates on a Monday-Thursday schedule from 5am-3:30pm, with overtime available on Friday and Saturday for 8-hour shifts. The work environment is a warehouse setting, where noise levels can reach up to 90 decibels at times. The job requires regular talking and hearing, as well as physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day. Employees must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White, Georgia.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
