Job Description
As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, performing your own setups, and operating the brake press machine in the fabrication area. You will work for a steel supplier that offers various services to meet client needs, including bending steel as far along in the process as necessary.
ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints to set up and operate the brake press machine.Perform your own setups, including putting in the proper tooling and setting the machine.Operate the brake press machine in the fabrication area.Ensure accurate bending and forming of steel as per client requirements.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Essential SkillsMinimum 6 months experience operating a machine in a production environment.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.Good mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and working with decimals.Experience with brake machines, press brakes, fabrication, and CNC.Additional Skills & QualificationsAny education within machining or fabrication from a technical school.Experience in performing setups at the machine, including tooling and machine settings.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position operates on the weekend shift from 6am to 6pm. You will be working on the shop floor in the fabrication area, primarily operating the brake press. The role requires you to be on your feet all day, working with multiple brands and sizes of presses.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00
