We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Press Manager to lead our press operations. This role is crucial for driving excellence in our flexographic printing processes and ensuring the highest standards of product quality, safety, and efficiency. The Press Department Manager will utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to assess current performance and develop strategic plans to achieve our ambitious goals.

Primary responsibilities include:

Leadership and Management:Lead and manage the press hall team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and performance.Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.Operational Excellence:Oversee all press operations, ensuring optimal utilization of flexographic press assets.Monitor and analyze KPIs and other metrics to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement.Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve production goals, focusing on quality, safety, and efficiency.Quality and Safety:Ensure all products meet or exceed quality standards.Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.Lead initiatives to continuously improve safety and quality processes.Team Building and Collaboration:Build and lead a high-performing team, promoting teamwork and effective communication.Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless production processes and timely delivery of products.Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that supports employee growth and satisfaction.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in managing flexographic printing operations within the flexible packaging industry in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentBachelor’s degree preferredStrong leadership and people management skills with a track record of building and leading successful teams.In-depth knowledge of flexographic printing processes and equipment.Excellent analytical skills and experience with KPIs and performance metrics.Ability to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve operational goals.Strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
