Press Operator
**Job Title: Press Operator** **Job Description** We are looking to hire a Printing Press Operator for the Weekend shift! Willing to train candidates who have experience in printing Starting pay will be based on experience, up to $25.00/hour Training will be on the day shift for 4-6 weeks, then move to Friday, Saturday and Sunday Schedule PRIMARY DUTIES: • Adjust machine parts to ensure proper speed, pressure, and temperature for quality production. • Monitor and control machines to maintain production schedules. • Complete quality checks and paperwork daily. • Maintain a safe, uncluttered, clean work environment by performing maintenance and janitorial duties as needed. • Review work orders and instructions to ensure necessary materials are available. • Understand shop orders, quantities, substrates, and patterns. • Understand defects and how to correct them. • Operate and maintain the Rewind/Unwind and other press functions. • Perform pattern changes and press setups. • Manage ink distribution, speed, and temperatures. • Oil and clean presses, make minor repairs, and perform preventive maintenance. • Operate the console and ensure print quality, registration, and coverage standards. • Collect and inspect print samples, making adjustments as needed. • Set up and engage the trim system. • Work overtime as required, including weekends and holidays. • Other duties as assigned. **Hard Skills** + Machine Operation (2+ years) + Printing Operator Experience **Soft Skills** + Attention to Detail + Ability to Learn Quickly + Problem-Solving Skills + Ability to Follow Instructions **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in York, Pennsylvania. **About Aerotek:** We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
