**NOW HIRING Press Operators** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Operator to assist with Stamping Presses in a well-lit and climate-controlled manufacturing facility. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation of machinery, performing quality checks, and assisting with machine setups. The standard shift is from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts. **Responsibilities** + Count good parts, rejected parts, and parts that require reworking. + Identify and report any machine downtime. + Insert and remove materials from the machine. + Operate stamping press. + Assist with machining setups. + Pack and label produced parts according to specifications. + Perform quality checks. + Fix temporary machine interruptions within defined parameters. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating some type of press (preferably stamping). + Recent experience operating a press machine. + Familiarity with assisting in changeovers/die setting. + Quality inspection experience with high attention to detail. + Experience checking parts after production. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical aptitude. + Experience using hand tools. + General production and general labor skills. + Steel-toed boots. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Southfield, Michigan. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
