Job Description
As a Press Operator, you will ensure that products are printed according to specifications. This includes verifying and setting up stock and inks, maintaining print quality, and completing all necessary paperwork and inspections.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure product is printed according to specification.Pull job tickets and verify that stock and inks are available and correct.Verify that aniloxes and plate cylinders are correct.Set up the machine by installing aniloxes, inks, stock, and plate cylinders.Set impression and register to print.Complete Global Vision scan and obtain supervision verification.Complete all start-up checks and obtain art approval.Perform in-process inspections and follow work instructions to control print quality.Close out jobs by accurately filling out paperwork and scanning all labor and material usage.Wash up previous job before starting the next.Maintain pH and viscosity for all inks during the production run.Manage the schedule as assigned.Detect defects in print when running the press at full speed.Mount, demount, and wash plates; clean and change doctor blades.Essential Skills1 year of press operating/set up experience1 year of troubleshooting experienceAbility to lift 40 lbsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in production, assembly, manufacturing, or machine operationWhy Work Here?
We offer full benefits upon direct hire, with starting pay between $18-$20/hr and a pay bump after 90 days once fully trained. Our facility is climate-controlled and follows GMP standards, ensuring a comfortable and safe work environment.
Work Environment
This role operates in a climate-controlled GMP facility, where the primary product is Keurig coffee lids, along with lids for other food products such as yogurt. The dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, and steel-toed shoes, along with hair nets, beard nets, and ear plugs. The shift for this position is from 3:00pm to 11:30pm.
