**Job Title: Press Operator**
**Job Description**
As a Press Operator, you will review job specifications for material and set-up requirements, perform or delegate set-up tasks, and monitor the equipment and product throughout the job run to ensure a high-quality product. You will also perform moderately complex troubleshooting related to product or equipment and communicate effectively during the shift and at shift hand-off.
**Responsibilities**
+ Evaluate mechanical condition of equipment, complete preventive maintenance, and involve Maintenance as needed.
+ Use computer-based workflow applications to manage files.
+ Accurately document activities on Tier Boards and in relevant systems (MII, SAP), including material usage and equipment issues.
+ Accurately mark, verify, and tag loads correctly to ensure inventory accuracy.
+ Provide work direction to others, whether direct crew or other individuals in the workstream.
+ Actively participate in company safety programs and contribute to a safe culture.
+ Perform training as needed.
+ Meet or exceed established quality and productivity standards utilizing standard work procedures.
+ Implement, perform, and sustain housekeeping procedures to maintain the work area and equipment.
+ Participate in project teams as needed.
+ Recommend and implement process improvements.
+ Fill in for other Operators as needed, including covering absences or breaks.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in machine operation, general labor, and printing press operations.
+ Experience working in an industrial setting with a wide range of production machinery.
+ Strong mechanical and technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team to resolve issues.
+ Solid understanding of Lean concepts and continuous improvement.
+ Competency with rulers and measurement.
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and production orders.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher. Candidates with a vocational/technical degree are strongly preferred (EDU not required).
+ Experience leading and training others.
+ Can regularly lift at least 5 lbs. above the shoulder as well as push, pull, and lift at least 10 lbs occasionally up to 50 lbs.
+ Regularly standing, walking, crouching, bending, reaching, and kneeling.

**Work Environment**
You will be working as a Mid-Level Operator on our Core Publishing Solutions team, operating state-of-the-art offset and digital web presses. The role involves regular standing, walking, crouching, bending, reaching, and kneeling. You will need to lift various weights regularly and work within an industrial setting with production machinery.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Eagan, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $68640.00/yr.
