Job Title: General Production Worker - Stamping Press Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stamping Press Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine operation and a strong experience in the automotive industry. This position involves starting and stopping the machine, checking parts for defects, setting up the machine, and documenting paperwork. The role requires working Monday to Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

ResponsibilitiesStart and stop the stamping press machine.Check parts for defects to ensure quality standards are met.Set up the machine independently.Document paperwork accurately and timely.Essential Skills1 year of stamping press experience.Ability to set up the machine individually.Proficiency in using manual calipers.1 year of experience working in an automotive plant.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in machine operation and production.Knowledge of press brake, stamping, and punch press operations.Familiarity with assembly, inspection, and reading blueprints.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is dark, small, and dirty, with each worker having their own station. There is less oil compared to other facilities. The role requires adherence to safety standards and proper use of quality tools.

This is a Contract position based out of Wixom, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
