This position is for Massiv Die-Form, a division of Cosma International.

Massiv Die-Form, a division of Magna International, designs and builds medium to large cast automotive and hot stamping dies. Massiv Die-Form is proudly committed to manufacture products of the highest quality, reliability, maintainability and durability for the global automotive market through skilled and dedicated people focused on total customer satisfaction, ongoing protection of the environment and the profitable well being of our company.

We are currently looking for two (2) Press Operators to join our Hot Stamping team!

Shift: Rotating Shifts

Day Shift: Monday to Thursday:6 am to 4 pm (Four weeks)Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday: 4pm to 2am (Two weeks)

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Machinist/Tool and Die pre-apprentice course or experience an asset.

Crane/Forklift experience an asset

Previous Tooling/Machine Shop experience an asset.

Previous Stamping experience an asset

Previous Robotic Programming an asset

Ability to use hand tools, disk and hand grinders.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain records i.e. Tryout reports, Static and Dynamic Buyoff lists etc.

Capable of loading dies into both mechanical and hydraulic presses.

Participate in all aspects of Tryout including FEA feedback, blank development, fixturing of parts, modifying oven settings, robot/press line setup and debugging.

Ability to analyze parts on checking fixture, and achieve First Off.

Ability to mark up spotting panels and cut with disc grinder.

Ability to use hand grinders to blue spot in Hot Stamp dies.

Utilize blue prints and/or Smirt Die Design for correct detailing lay out and set up.

Utilize FEA reports and Tryout reports to setup die according to conditions.
