**Job Title: Press Operator**
**Job Description**
Operators will lead in all aspects of operation of Press lines including changeovers, machine start-up, running, and shut-down. Support operations in becoming World Class in all aspects of the business, beginning with Safety. Run all jobs in accordance with customer specification, manufacturing specification, print specification, color folders, and standard operating procedures. Ensure all appropriate paperwork is filled out accurately and completely. This includes, but is not limited to, production reports, job verification sheets, ink usage sheets, QA reports, roll tickets (all flags are recorded), S.O.C sheets, and all others as assigned. Work with and direct the press assistant and pit crew to minimize job change-over and down time. Train and direct the press assistant to become efficient at all the required assistant duties defined in each level of the assistant training matrix on time, while also knowing and understanding the role in product safety. Comply with all 5S and WCM initiatives (Cross Training, moving to the work). All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
**Responsibilities**

+ Accurately and completely fill out all required paperwork.
+ Work with and direct the press assistant and pit crew to minimize job change-over and downtime.
+ Train and direct the press assistant on required duties.
+ Understand and ensure product safety.
+ Comply with 5S and WCM initiatives.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
**Essential Skills**
+ Machine operating
+ Lamination
+ Press machine operation
+ Production operation
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 1+ year of manufacturing experience
+ Ability to work 12-hour shifts
+ Ability to be on feet for the entirety of the shift
+ Ability to enter data into a computer system
+ Ability to function independently
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs
+ Training will be provided on the machinery

**Work Environment**
The facility is very clean and temperature controlled, with large printing presses. You will need to work both independently and as part of a team. The workweek is typically 4 days with potential for a 5th day, working 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM, Monday through Thursday. You must be able to handle an adhesive smell throughout the facility.

This is a Permanent position based out of SHELBYVILLE, Kentucky.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
