**Job Title: Press Setup Operator** **Job Description** Set up and run large and small automatic and manual presses using a wide variety of dies and different types of materials, stamping required piece parts. **Hard Skills** + Set up and run automatic and manual presses + Adjust servo for proper material height + Load material onto unwind stand and run through material straightener + Pull material coils up to 800 lbs. + Adjust and mount safety equipment + Maintain SPC Data sheets + Check piece parts for proper dimensions + Maintain equipment by checking oil levels, greasing, and inspecting for wear + Run in-die tapping dies and check threads using gages and pins + Utilize pallet jack, hydraulic forklift, and other related equipment **Soft Skills** + Attention to detail + Safety-consciousness + Adaptability + Responsibility + Teamwork **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Springfield, New Jersey. **Work Environment** metal manufacturing environment which is climate controlled **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
