Pressing Supervisor

Summary: Seeking an experienced Pressing Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure safety, and maintain production quality in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

Technical High School diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment Thorough understanding of safety protocols and regulations within a manufacturing environment Proven experience in a supervisory role Familiarity with quality control methodologies and tools, such as statistical process control and root cause analysis Experience with process optimization, 6S/Lean practices and principles, and continuous improvement methodologies Microsoft proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel), Power BI, and SAP

Preferred Skills:

Strong communication skills Ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team Openness to new processes and training

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the assigned shift within the Pressing Department Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with safety standards Monitor quality of production and adherence to internal guidelines Delegate daily staffing duties, trainings, and manage payroll Implement and promote 6S/Lean practices and RCA investigations for quality and safety incidents Work with Management, Supervisor Team, Technical Experts, and Team Members to align with corporate objectives and goals Review and analyze production records to identify improvement opportunities Monitor and maintain equipment performance to ensure it operates at standard specifications Ensure compliance with the production schedule Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation of production equipment Participate in the development of IMS-Documentation (procedural and work instruction)

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
