Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pressman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation, tuning, and operation of press equipment and materials while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

ResponsibilitiesProactively perform preventative machine maintenance.Operate equipment and troubleshoot issues efficiently.Accurately adjust and set up feeder, fill ink, and mount plates and blankets.Perform maintenance and repair activities, ensuring infeed register/sheet detector and sensors are functioning correctly.Maintain ink levels throughout the run and prepare for the next job order.Assist with preparation, tuning, and operation of press equipment and materials in accordance with production schedules.Ensure the product meets quality, safety, and legality requirements.Troubleshoot and repair press-related problems, adjusting equipment to improve or maintain print productivity.Maintain production floor and workspace cleanliness, observing all safety and quality practices.Essential SkillsIntermediate to expert level experience with press equipment.Ability to troubleshoot and repair press equipment and raw materials such as ink, coating, or varnish.Clear communication of production and process discrepancies with various departments.Continuous inspection and testing of products to maintain high-quality standards.Completion and maintenance of necessary documentation.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Relevant experience within a technical concentration preferred.Experience with forklifts or pallet jacks.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Our work environment is sterile, temperature-controlled, and welcoming. We operate on a 1st shift from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. This is a Permanent position based out of Liverpool, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
