Preventative Control Monitor
Overview Responsible for managing and administering Preventative Controls for the Sanitation programs. To effectively support and continually improve the Quality and Food Safety Management System. This position is responsible for ensuring the appropriate food safety policies and procedures are utilized in the manufacture of products in order to meet regulatory, customer and consumer requirements. Working Shifts Option 1 - 7 am to 3 pm Option 2 - 3 pm to 11 pm Option 3 - 11 pm to 7 am Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Driver of Food Safety/ Sanitation programs, including but not limited to: FSMA compliance (including Preventive Control documentation), Cleaning & Verification, Self- Inspections, Corrective Actions, Maintenance, Good Manufacturing Practice’s, Hygienic Zoning Leading and directing Preventive Control Technicians in your designated area Lead process improvement of Primary Pathogen Control Areas (PPCA) for cleaning and sanitation Track and report Sanitation Preventive Control KPI’s Monitoring hygienic conditions in assigned PPCA area. Will be a back-up to other PC Monitors on the team to fill in during absences Perform routine audits of assigned area for acceptable sanitary guidelines. Fix unsatisfactory audit findings for continual PC compliance Ensure all cleaning activities are documented Inspect equipment post cleaning pre sanitizing steps, execute ATP swabbing Provide daily feedback to plant management as well as team members regarding regulatory compliance, quality/ food safety, safety, and reliability issues Work with direct manager to identify new opportunities for Sanitation Compliance using the Cedar Rapids Food Safety Plan as a guide Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $50,600 - $75,950 Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
