Plastipak is looking for an experienced Preventative Maintenance Technician at our plastics facility in Harve de Grace, MD. This is a Direct Hire position that offers paid training and opportunities for advancement.

Job Title: Preventative Maintenance Technician

Location: Harve de Grace, MD

Pay: $27/hr

Shift: 7a-3:30pm M-F

What you’ll be doing:

Perform maintenance for either extrusion or Sidel manufacturing equipment to assure uninterrupted & optimal operationsExecute & continuously improve preventative maintenance proceduresParticipate in changeovers, ensuring efficient & correct executionAssure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices & proceduresGrow your knowledge and skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences

Requirements:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent3 years of Maintenance experience required, extrusion strongly preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints/schematicsWelding/fabrication experience a plusPLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience is a bonus
