You will:
Responsible for ensuring reliability and maintainability of the line equipment at the Portland Bakery. Your role is to identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant or business operations. The primary role includes loss elimination, risk management and life cycle asset management.
People and Labor Management
Make decisions and deliver on overall Safety, Quality, and Line Efficiency for assigned lines or areas. Support remotely as needed.Enable, manage and be a participant of the Daily Meeting System for maintenance.Develop, monitor, and execute plans through the maintenance & repair cell, building their skills and providing training when applicable.Support for recruitment of mechanics and oversees the interviews and offers to mechanics.Union(s) and Plant Liaison for issues in efforts to repair and maintain relationship and avoid grievancesBuild capabilities and train new PM line lead.Co-Lead tooling & workshop management. Ensure GMP compliance in both.Asset Reliability
Develop Maintenance inspection and/or update in SAPManage a lubrication program in SAP, and it development.Ensure TBM development, management, and execution supportEnsure CBM development, management, and execution supportCoordinate low-cost improvements and Maintenance CapexBudget control and initial maintenance cost improvementsPerform small group activities (SGA) on the critical line equipment utilizing subject matter experts (Bosch, R.A. Jones, etc.) to develop CIL’s, CL’s, PM’s, and Trainings for trades technicians and operators.Breakdown analysis and actions implementations to improve the lines performance, MTBF and MTTR.Prioritize, plan, and execute all found abnormalities including safety and quality action items.Enable and facilitate PM to AM transferProgram leader to Restore to Base Condition Equipment. PM Lead ultimate decision maker on PM activities for their lines across all 3 shiftsMentor Team Leads as neededEnsures on start-up days assigned lines are ready from end to end for startup, supporting the line for a successful vertical start up, being the point of contact for maintenance needs.Productivity Projects
Work with the Core Centric Team to develop and execute projects based on line losses for each assigned line or area.Works with stockroom and investigate part(s) information to reduce obsolete parts in stock roomSupport stockroom to reduce obsolete parts in stock roomCo-lead research for benchmarking and ensure reapplication across lines and/or plants of the network.Labor & Scheduling
Create the shutdown schedules and scopes of work for PM activity windows and shutdown weekends.Work with Maintenance Scheduler and decide on the weekend shift layout based on resource availability and plant needs.Develop and prioritize maintenance activities on assigned lines and assign names for the tasks, and efficiently execute.Coverage for Team Leads during the week and weekend as needed.Support the effort to manage and organize workload in SAP, continually keeping the SAP system clean and assigning the work to the proper revisions.Process Management
Monitor Shop-Logix for line performance and recognize patterns, investigate GE losses, and develop and execute GE recovery plans with AM line lead support.Create centerlines on equipment, share with all shifts and be vigilante in maintaining centerlines.Implementation of visual management in equipment to facilitate maintenance inspections.Understands major losses in area and equipment and takes appropriate actions to eliminate identified losses.More about this role
Education / Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree as mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Preferred)In Lieu of degree, 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience requiredJob specific requirements:

Preferred a minimum of 5 years of as maintenance professional. Supervisory experience in maintenance operations, capital project management, etc. Preferred work experience in production & material planning, demand planning, inventory management & handling, Line Operations, and/or ForecastingComputer proficiency (MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Experience with a CMMS such as SAP and Scheduling systems (Kronos).Communication skills (Verbal and Written), Analytical & Problem-solving skills, strong collaboration, and relationship management skillsWork schedule:
Monday-Friday ( 7:00am to 3:00pm) with ability to work overtime and weekends as neededMay be required to work different shifts in addition to being on call for consultation during other shiftsPay range
